Emergency Contact Information

Your contact information is needed to communicate with you in the event of a school-wide emergency or urgent event. Please take a few minutes this year to check with the school to make sure your contact information, such as your telephone number, address and email, is up-to-date.  Please email contact information changes to info@amscharter.org or Fax to 239-689-8511

Parent Grievance Procedure

If a parent has a grievance or complaint, please follow the process below:

1.Seek to resolve the problem with the teacher, if applicable. 

2.If problem is not resolved, meet with school administration via an appointment at
239-400-1818.

3.If still unresolved, please contact School Support, 954-EDU-CATE(954-338-2283), or email Dr. Patricia Lightner at lightner.amcs@gmail.com 

Transportation

Two Yellow School Bus ROUTES:
Fort Myers and Lehigh routes. 

Students living in North Fort Myers,  Bonita Springs, and Cape Coral students are provided LeeTran bus passes.  More information can be found on LeeTran's website http://www.leegov.com/leetran

Parent Drop off and Pick up is in front of the school. 

Youth Food Program

All students enrolled at Acceleration receive free breakfast and free lunch. We are an official Community Eligible Program (CEP) school as per The National Food Lunch Program, and ask that each parent fill out our Family Survey during enrollment.  Our meals are provided by Preffered Meals, check out our schools menu at www.preferredmeals.com. 


OPEN ENROLLMENT 2017-18

Pursuant to  § 1002.31, Fla. Stat., Acceleration Middle School will comply with open enrollment of any student in the state, please be advised that our school ENROLLMENT CAPACITY is 300 Students.
